Cash and Banking Team Leader

Ruby Group are looking for a Cash and Banking team leader to join a national business. Reporting into the Cash and Banking Manager your responsibilities will be to lead a team of Cash and banking Administrators. Ensuring weekly deadlines have been met. Training and appraising staff, you will ensure the financial integrity of the balance sheet using efficient and effective accounting and reporting processes. Reconciliation of the bank statement to the nominal ledger, including the production of daily, weekly, and month-end reports ensuring compliance with applicable accounting, tax, legislative and other regulatory standards. Accountability for all bank accounts, ensuring that the team are reconciling items inside acceptable time scales with clear and decisive action taken to resolve.  Acting as an escalation point as required, ensuring all policies and processes are adhered to. Sign off weekly and monthly bank reconciliation ready for review and approval. Investigating and resolving internal/external queries.

The ideal applicant will have experience supervising teams and have a minimum of three years experience gained whilst working in Finance operations ideally within a transactional role. You must be able to work to weekly and monthly deadlines managing and distributing a high volume of work. This is an urgent position to start immediately. (Hybrid Working)
