Accounting Manager

Ruby Group are recruiting for a daily rate temporary opportunity which is currently remote suitable for an experienced Finance Manager or Financial Controller for 4 to 6 months. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where self-motivation and prior exposure to similar environments will be paramount.

You will be using your leadership skills and experience to support the finance team through an accounting transition and busy season and the close of a reporting cycle.  If successful you will focus on their month-end close, including journal entry review, reconciliation preparation and review, audit support preparation and review together with ad hoc projects.

The ideal Accounting Manager will possess the following attributes/skills:

• Qualified accountant with 8+ years of general accounting in an international company (ideally starting with Big 4 audit experience)
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of accrual accounting and IFRS
• Highly experienced in process improvement
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Preference to candidates who have worked in a SOX 404 environment
• Proven ability to deliver under pressure
