- Ruby Group have been selected to search for a permanent Finance Manager ideally from a Big 4 Audit background to work for a global NASDAQ listed software company based in Central London offering a remote set up that will transition to hybrid in future.
It is a global SAAS B2B and B2C gaming firm has sports betting, gambling and casino customers, they are going through a 25% revenue growth and positive internal change and sit around the $150m t/o mark. On top of your salary there will be a 10% discretionary bonus, medical cover and a 3% pension and we have successfully placed a significant part of the finance team so can discuss all elements of what you can expect when you start.
Given the growth of the company and the recent move to a shared service model it is a critical role in the Finance department, with a specific focus on the commercial and operational aspects of the business with oversight of revenues, cost of sales and capitalised development costs.
Other elements involve:
• Business partnering
• Relationship building between departments and core finance to gain commercial knowledge
• Optimisation of key finance processes as well as reviewing the month end close
• Reviewing revenue and billing models, as well as monthly sales invoices, journal entry review, balance sheet reconciliation review, audit support preparation and/or review, in addition to ad hoc projects
• The Finance Manager will be tasked with reviewing and collaborating with the shared services team
• In addition to reviewing transactions processed by the shared service team, the Finance Manager will be adding value through analytical analysis and process improvement
• A number of projects within this remit will be focused on driving forward the automation of the sales invoicing process, which will be key to success via RPA (Robotics Process Automation) for the billing / revenue process.
The ideal Finance Manager will possess the following attributes/skills:
• A degree in accounting or related field
• Qualified accountant with 6+ years of general accounting in an international company (preference to combination with Big 4 audit experience)
• Demonstrate strong understanding IFRS and U.S. GAAP
• Advanced professional skills in Excel
• Preference to candidates who have worked in a SOX 404 environment
• Prior experience using Microsoft D365 Business Central preferred
