- Ruby Group are recruiting for an opportunity suitable for an experienced technical accountant seeking to work for a global consultancy based in central London near Holborn (currently remote).
They have a state of the art office however the position will be remote for the foreseeable with the occasional meeting. Their funding comes from a top 10 private equity firm and they have ambitions to list within the next few years.
The company requires an SEC Technical Accounting expert with extensive US company exposure including drafting 10-K and 10-Q documentation. The business has been through some positive change and will require experience of USGAAP to IFRS conversions. This is a highly technical role within a US-listed environment.
The ideal Finance Manager will possess the following attributes/skills:
SEC exposure, 10-K and 10-Q document writing skills
Full accountancy qualification with audit experience (ACA, CPA, ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA)
Technical accounting skills with extensive research and policy writing skills (required)
US-listed company exposure
IFRS, US GAAP and SOX exposure
Big 4 audit background (PWC, Deloitte, PWC or EY) with the ability to scrutinise and correct (desirable)
Strong communication skills and influencing abilities
Works in a structured and methodical manner
Pro-active approach to problem-solving
A confident demeanour with strong commercial acumen
