Group Financial Accountant

Ruby Group are looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join a global company listed on the FTSE. A newly created role working in the Group Finance SSC, reporting into the Group Financial Controller your responsibilities will be.

Preparations of the monthly consolidated reports in accordance with IFRS and GAAP, providing monthly analysis against reported results. Posting consolidation journals, provide finance teams with technical accounting assistance and guidance. Coordination and preparation of the half year/year end results, disclosures and financial statements. Liaise with Auditors to ensure closure of the interim and year end audits. Co-ordinate the groups global statutory accounts process, providing monthly performance reports. Support various group projects and maintain consolidation systems.

The ideal applicant will be educated to degree level, and have a relevant professional qualification in either ACCA, CIMA or ACA. You must have at least one year’s post qualification experience. “Big 4” experience is advantageous. You must have an excellent technical knowledge of IFRS and GAAP, experience with financial consolidations / reviewing financial statements. Excellent communication and the ability to prioritise your workload is essential. Our client offers hybrid working, in an uplifting environment.
