Interim Group Accountant

Ruby Group are looking for a Group Accountant to join a Global business listed on the NYSE. An interim role supporting the Group FC and Chief Accounting Officer, your responsibilities will be, to produce consolidated financial reports in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS and SOX. Production of quarterly and annual statutory financial statements for submission to the SEC. Management of the group consolidation process (including approval of all accounting entries). Preparation of additional supporting schedules for review, providing explanations and analysis as required to support key stakeholders. Hedge accounting for the company’s interest rate and cross currency swaps portfolio in compliance with US GAAP. Researching technical accounting issues and preparation of file notes and accounting memos for non-routine commercial transactions. Assisting the GFC and CAO in maintaining the Group's compliance with US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

The ideal applicant will be fully qualified in either ACA/ACCA. Have at least 4 years post qualified experience gained whilst working in a group finance function. An expert knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and SOX is highly desirable. Strong academic, audit and financial reporting background will be beneficial in this role, especially having dealt with challenging technical accounting issues. You must have the Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. You must be a good team player, have an eye for detail and enjoy tackling new challenges.
