- Ruby Group are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join a Global Media business listed on the ftse100. The group’s main offices are in London, New York, Montreal and Hong Kong. Reporting to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will be to supervise a team of 4 management accountants. Reviewing and presenting the management accounts to Divisional Directors. You will be the first point of contact for all finance queries. You will business partner the finance manager in making key business decision based on providing management information. Add value to the businesses in the portfolio by recommending revenue generating, cost saving or more efficient methods of work. Review work of the management accounts team, identify errors and ensure these are accurately corrected (e.g. management accounts, sales reports, commentary etc.) so that the work is distributed to the Finance Manager and Divisional Director on time and without error. Review inter-company, bank and control account reconciliations as well as subsidiary statutory accounts. Assist with the integration of recent business acquisitions. Budgeting and forecasting. Working on a number of Ad-hoc projects.
The ideal applicant will be fully qualified in ACCA, CIMA or ACA and have at least two years experience producing or presenting monthly management accounts. You must have supervised teams. Have excellent communication skills as and be able to manage your work load effectively. Candidates that have used SAP or SUN will have an advantage.
